The Corrosion Center Joint Industry Project (CC JIP) semi-annual advisory board meeting was held on March 19th and 20th, 2019. At the meeting were 18 representatives from 12 of the 16 sponsoring companies, along with
our students, adjunct professors, faculty and staff (as pictured above). During the 2-day event, there were 19 presentations covering research related to sweet corrosion mechanisms, sour corrosion mechanisms, modeling
of inhibition mechanisms, reviews of inhibitor studies, and molecular modeling. The meeting was very productive with open discussions between all attendees on each presented topic. At the end of the meeting,
representatives commended the students for their ability to provide high-quality presentations with good literature reviews and a clear path forward.
