Eighteen students and 5 faculty and staff members attended the NACE 2007 conference
and exhibition in Nashville, TN. From this group, 17 students presented posters in the poster session Monday, Tuesday,
and Wednesday, and 8 oral presentations were conducted in 5 separate symposia on topics covering CO2 Corrosion in Oil
and Gas Production, MIC, Corrosion Modeling and Prediction in Oil and Gas production, and Sour Gas Corrosion in Oil and
Gas Production.
Students and Faculty of the Institute are scheduled to present 7 papers. The
