ICMT participates at NACE International Expo 2014

NACE International, The Corrosion Society, is the world's leading professional organization, recognized globally as the premier authority for corrosion control solutions, as it is involved in every industry and area of corrosion prevention and control.
Established in 1943, NACE International nowadays has nearly 30,000 members in 116 countries, and has headquarters in Houston, Texas, with offices in San Diego, California; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Shanghai, China and Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
ICMT had, once again, exceptional success during NACE International conference held in San Antonio, TX, March 9 – 13, 2014. We had 10 papers, 15 student posters and the following students received awards:
- Kyle Addis (MS student) won the 1st place at the NACE Student Poster Session in Harvey Herro category for the Field of Applied Corrosion Technology. The title of his poster is "A Corrosion Model for Production Tubing".
- Wei Li (PhD student) won the Outstanding Student Poster award given by STG 34 (Petroleum Refining and Gas Processing) for his poster titled “Effect of multiphase flow on corrosion: hydrodynamics of gas/liquid flow”.
- Jing Ning (PhD student) won the Graduate Student Book Award.
- Saba Navabzadeh (PhD Student) also won the Graduate Student Book Award.
CONGRATULATIONS to all students for their valuable contribution to the corrosion research and an outstanding representation of ICMT and OU Russ College!
